    I like discord because you can do more with the free version like make servers, see old messages, etc. also it is nice and easy to join new servers - ie. one login for all.
    I do like the threaded chat on slack tho (you can reply in a sidebar) also I never used slack voice or video so can't really compare that. Anyway either is fine..

    I'm in a community where each 2 months orso this discussion pops up again, each time we end up staying in slack because it has better integrations with other platforms, and allows for easier access to integrations and to create new channels by non admins

    @olback licence fee if you run a server. Its extreamly expensive to run a 50 slot server. The free community licence forbidds you to gather money or to have advertisements or sponsorship in any form. Thus its unusable for bigger communities
