@retoor That's very true, the 20s do slowly drain that optimism(? not sure if it's the right word) and you learn stuff outside of school with how things work rather than how they say it should work. Still, there are definitely people better than others, they just avoid becoming politicians

@retoor I think a big part of it as well is going away from the more "carefree" education lifestyle and going to work. Combine that with realising you can't be "everything you dreamed of being", seeing the cost of things... I could name more things, but I think you're right about being more positive when younger.
