So yesterday evening I was going to play some games. Checked NVIDIA and saw new update (no beta). So I went to install it and it literally fucked up my graphics card.

One monitor stopped working instantly and the other one got this old tv effect like when you had no signal.

Took me two hours to downgrade to my old drivers because I couldn't fucking see shit.

PLS NVIDIA DONT PUSH NEW DRIVERS IF YOU FUCKIN NOT TESTED THEM

    Are you sure your card is legit? Stuff like this happens when you get scammed.

    I’ve had that driver is pretty unstable like you’re saying, randomly my screens lose connection or just flash green. Initially when I updated, it had my screens off for longer than normal, I was confused until I realized it was glitched.

    @justmove Because Windows said "Error XX: Card was stopped" but it did not activate my CPU Graphics driver. So basically all HDMI and DisplayPort Ports were dead

    Just a small advice for people with an GTX 1060 6 GB:

    Just wait for the next patch. The changelog for this driver didn't changed much except for Far Cry 5 so if you don't have problems with the last driver stay on it.

    @finncyr Got 2 friends with 1060 (other manufacturer than mine) and they got similar problems
