    Saying html is programming is like saying tomatoes belong in fruit salad, yes tomato is a fruit, but that doesn't make it part of the recipe!

    HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language.
    MARKUP. LANGUAGE.
    MARKUP.

    Not programming.

    Also, programming languages as far as I can think compile code before running, HTML does no such thing (JavaScript doesn't compile I don't think)

    @DucksCanCode I believe JS does compile, but I could be wrong 🤔

    @ashmay94

    JS is interpreted, not compiled.

    Even nodejs.

    Also HTML does not give logical instructions and thus is not a programming language. . . but op post is a troll so who cares right?

    @limitunknown thanks for the information. And yes definitely trolling, no arguments just discussions. I dont consider html a programming language myself.

    @limitunknown Interpreted languages are compiled dynamically. All languages are eventually compiled to machine code, interpreted or not.

    @Phippsaurus

    That's transpiling.

    @AlgoRythm

    A browser doesn't compile JS, it interprets it.

    Hey man whatever makes you happy. TBH it really doesn't have an effect on the end result.
