Is his how we're supposed to repair our file system?

    why would we check current/voltage/resistance to repair a filesystem.

    Ofc, didn't they teach you this in the first grade?! O.o We are taught this first thing in elementary schools..how to fix disk before you could count!

    @Condor Not for xfs... Or ntfs/fat if you also have a windows partition... Besides, who never needed to fsck via live sometime? XD

    @Condor True, but then it's also safe to assume they dual boot. Which means they may have a partition with ntfs for windows, plus an ex-fat partition for shared data... Which get corrupted easily XD

    About xfs and zfs... fsck.xfs is a bash script which prints out "xfs is not supported" (not kidding.), and you have to use xfs_repair. Zfs does not need fsck, but the main pool should be optimized every once in a week... But still XD
