Why did I ever move to a cubicle in a more densely populated area? (>_<)

So many people constantly talking. It's like it's a requirement to be loud to be on this floor!

    Buy noise canceling headphones.

The best choices are the newest update to the old and shitty Sony MDR X1000 or something, the Sennheiser PCX 550 or something, and the Bose QC 35.

There are other alternatives of course, from the cheaper Parrot headphones, to the more expensive B&W, and some ridiculously looking Plantronics that are slightly cheaper, and Audiotechnica was expected to release a good cheap pair this April.

As soon as you put them on, usually, 80% of the noise disappears immediately due to isolation. With ANC, they also eliminate all of the low frequency noise that permeate the isolation, and all that will be left is voices, but at such a low volume that listening to anything at modest loudness will be enough for you not to hear absolutely anything around you.
