I'm guessing if anyone would ever be tasked w/ creating such a machine, they'd be in the dark about it, like in 'Cube'.
A bunch of people creating small parts to-be-assembled at a later time. -
who cares? they're dying anyway
reminds me of lexx. the series starts with a "conviction" line. if you're convicted of a crime by the AI judge, they automatically carve out your organs on the assembly line.
they need protein. for the insects.
that series was so good (and weird, obviously). really reminds me of satanic death rituals the irl lizard people are into -
Tounai16853d@Demolishun Paid enough I can work on anything, provided that it doesn’t require me to do too much.

int321622dI find it tragically comical that the CEO or president of the Last Resort (place where the woman died) is a German and used what is basically a gas chamber to allow the woman to off herself.

my grandma's euthanasia was actually the most life-affirming action she ever took. 89 years on earth, couldn't enjoy it anymore, died standing (metaphorically). Real freedom.

dude1: Some man died from euthanasia.
dude2: He committed suicide?
dude1: No, he was killed by a gang of kids in China.
So I thought of this joke today so its definitely a work in progress. But then I wondered what happened with the suicide machine in Europe. So I found this horrifying account.

I mean, she got what she paid for...but...this is so fucked. I have seen a few discussions on this and there are complications to this account of what happened. I expect it will take months if not years to sort out what actually happened.
Imagine if it failed due to a dev bug? Who would want to work on such a machine? Seems so fucked.
