    @kiki not sure, it was three years ago but I remember that I left it with much frustration.

    @retoor that sounds worse than gentoo, and I ran that for a while with no problems. Probably because it doesn't excel at anything, I assume?

    I tried a lot of distros and in the end i left elementaryOS on my old inspiron 5558 laptop,rarely turning it on, but when i do, it works for what i need it for!

    It's a beautiful thing.

    When it starts up in textmode it always gave you nice colored loglines telling you the service status etc

    It's lovely

    And it's just a good blend of Linux overall

    It defaults to gnome 41 :)
