Why the FUCK did I decide to get this EXPENSIVE ASS MECHANICAL KEYBOARD before examining it to see if its software had non-windows support? THE SHIT IS WINDOWS ONLY AND IT WON'T RUN IN WINE!!! Okay, sure, there's an SDK, a C++ SDK. So I decide to download it and then... the "ReadMe.txt" looks like this:

(§@) Example•ÿø˝§∫®Á:
1.Ωd®“∞ı¶Êƒ“
2.Ωd®“Source Code;
3.Ωd®“ª°©˙
(§G) SDK •ÿø˝§∫≤[
1. CoolerMaster LED Table.xls : LED Øx∞}™Ì(6 row x 22 Column)
2. SDK Function.doc :¥£®—™∫®Á¶°ª°©˙
3. x86•ÿø˝: ∞ ∫A≥sµ≤®Á¶°Æw°B Lib¿…§Œº–¿Y¿…
3. x64•ÿø˝: 64 bit ∞ ∫A≥sµ≤®Á¶°Æw°B Lib¿…§Œº–¿Y¿…

I FEEL FUCKING CHEATED! WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW?!?!?!?!? THIS SHIT HAS NO VISIBLE DOCUMENTATION!!!

Reverse engineer the protocol, share your efforts!

Can't you return it or exchange it ?
  • 2
If you do return it. Explicitly state the reason.

We will get them to support Linux one returned item at a time.

    I can't return it :(

@D--M I choose my tools based on quality, and in that merit windows is only slightly better than a literal piece of shit.

@vityavv says the one without a working keyboard 😉

@D--M the keyboard works, I just can't configure shit.

For you next keyboard, checkout HyperX Alloy Fps , no software require to configure, but it doesn't have macros either... Just cool LEDs :)
  • 2
The keyboard protocol is standardized, everything but the leds should work. If you are a linux user you dont value looks over usability anyway, so be happy.

Tried on Windows, the txt give me the same result.

Their is a pdf version with the exact same information (list of the SDK contains) and the documentation.
