My Skype was hacked and spam links was sent to everyone.
I guess i deserved it since i haven't updated the password since i've signed up to skype 11 years ago.
Still very annoying.

Do you have a way to warn you friends on Skype? It would suck if they just clicked on it without even knowing where it leads.

I've learned my lession and checked every service if 2 factor authentication is switched on.

you're not giving all your data to skype as you think, but you're giving much more than what you think to google, I'd say pretty much EVERYTHING ... but in that case is fine... LOL
