Seriously amazing how some people just contribute that much to open source:

"I actively maintain 1100+ npm packages (1 billion downloads a month) and many popular projects. You're probably depending on some of my packages in your dependency tree. For example, Webpack relies on 77 of my packages."

    Does maintaining them part of your job? Or voluntarily?

    @credibleWanker he/she setup a patreon to be full time open source dedicated

    @JoshBent

    Oops, I missed the double-quote in the post. But the fact that it's not voluntary is kind of undermining the "amazing" part.

    @credibleWanker For a long time he/she was doing it voluntarily, I can't see how starting to do it as your full-time job, makes it less impressive.

    I mean the amount hardly matters. The content of them does. For example, many of those even just in the screenshots are very simple and probably do not require much "maintenance"

    "Sacrificing free time and effort outside of work to contribute onto open-source projects" is amazing.

    "Working" is not amazing.

    It is an amazing job tho, $3500 per month just to have maximum 56 contributions per day on Github? I would like to have that job too.
