wakuni97y@azous Congrats! I have to commute 22km in BR-153 passing by blockades, and yet my Boss, wont consider home office a option.

manoweng27yThis sucks, luckily I work remotely, but a friend of mine has to take a bus to work, and public transportation is available only at selected hours until this weekend

bahua128037yWow, I haven't heard anything about this. Sounds awful! Also, your boss sounds like a serious chode.

nanl20567yThe situation is getting critical. Supermarkets are limiting products purchases and gas stations have long and unending queues in my city.
If that continue for another week, the country will collapse.
I really hope things get better soon. -
@Condor the drivers are not nearly the problem, just the reaction of the largest corruption scheme of the country involving the oil company Petrobrás. Now they're increasing the prices and the truckers are reacting against it.

We are in day 11 of strike. The President offered two deals, and the strike is slowly subsiding since then, but it has wreaked havoc.
The strike that began over fuel prices, ended up with some protesters calling for military intervention.
The blocked roads led to shortages of food, fuel and medical supplies across the country.
Disruption to the supply of animal feed has had a devastating impact on livestock. About 70 million chickens had been slaughtered because producers have no food for them.
Today I saw a fuel tanker escorted by police officers in a gas station near my house.
Food prices increased here as well.
Next week should be little better.
