I originally asked this as a genuine question and then realised how stupid what I'd said was

@atheist I've been using both. The autocomplete is ok, in that you can swear at it without worrying that you're going to be reported to someone.
Also if you meant that AI is basically autocomplete in a short skirt, then fair enough. -
@donkulator I've not used chrome dev tools in ages so legit wasn't sure if it was just an auto complete or an actual llm

God what has the world come to when an LLM in dev tools in a browser seems plausible...

jestdotty723724hwhy is there an AI in dev tools...
is it locally hosted or is it doing network calls somewhere to Gemini or something
also just why? isn't this shit costing them a few cents. why even do it. just why. increase costs for the sake of increasing costs? it just feels so ominous -
donkulator386723h@jestdotty It's great. You can ask it why this element is 20 pixels taller than that element when they're meant to be the same height, and it will say it's because #foo is 500 pixels high and #bar is 520 pixels high and the difference is 20 pixels. Genius.
And then it will recommend that you manually set the height of one of them.
And then you can tell it to fuck off and it says it can't help you with that request.
The AI assistant in Chrome dev tools is a retard.
