May be its because of the display ratio of the device.
I have a 19:9 screen and i think that is the cause of the issue.

Ugh that's gross. Appcelerator doesn't do image tiling well (at all), so it's a single image with some sizing logic. Apparently it has some ratio calculations that fall apart at big heights
