does 8.5$ per hour it's cheap for developing an android game?
I don't have a lot of actual experience that I can show to people (most of my works are on my computer) they want me to build them bubble shooter game in cocos creator for 8.5$, should I ask for more?

    @JordMan I work in a data center to do nothing but maintain servers and I make $35k and I'm a college senior. Hell yes you should ask for more.

    Enough is not how much is fair, but how much the market is willing to offer in exchange for your services.

    If you're an idiot who can convince customers to pay 200$ per hour, then you're worth 200$ per hour. That's the single and only truth.

    @JordMan 15.00 hr works out to roughly 30k per year. Bout where I started in a low COLA. So not out of line but know you should be asking for more with experience.

    Also if you are a 1099 employee you need to ask for more bc you have to pay your own payroll tax.

    @iKameo I'm only 16, I don't really need that money to pay rent or something..😅

    Well I pay my social media manager $10/hour and he's a low skill worker in Kenya. So yeah, you can probably do better.

    @DuckyMcDuckFace welp, I asked for more, they said that I'm junior and I'm working from home, and I shouldn't get more... I'll probably won't hear from them again... :(
