Do any of you know anything about devbuddies.io? Are they nice or just the average recruiter?

@alexdelarge you're the only one Berliner I know. Do you know anything about this company?

@AlexDeLarge yes, they contacted me twice already, and I'm wondering if I should answer.

@AlexDeLarge I am, but their offer requires moving to Berlin, so there's a big risk for me if things don't go well. (They only work with Berlin startups.)

I like the idea but the freedom of choice with tools is weird.

Recruiters are 'nice' to recruit you. Then they are scum. Like used car salesmen and estate agents (realtors).

That's how life is.

hey man, this is Flo :) I founded devbuddies about 3 years ago. I am a developer myself for more than 16 years and always used to be a networker by heart making my friends join the projects and teams I was working with. By coincidence I started helping a startup to build they team and loved it so much to use all my tech background, taj to so many people, provide authentic insights about what I like and dislike about the company vs selling marketing bullshit and get away from programming for a while ;) In the past years we have helped more then 60 people find a cool job, dozens of people (many are friends now) stayed in my flat (some for months), helped with visas, covered arrivals, helped with the apartment search and everything we possibly could to give people a warm welcome in berlin. so I strongly embrace that we are not standard recruiters persé :) we are building a strong community and really like to do our part in helping the berlin ecosystem grow. feel free to contact me :)
