So I'm not sure what I should learn next. Developers love vue more than react. But I prefer to work remotely and I lost the count of how many job ads require React js experience. Every employer wants react. Would you still suggest to learn vuejs despite this? Right now I know javascript and I abuse jquery (front end developer here)

Try out both.

While more sites are built with react, probably because its very easy to just dump into an existing page and not having to rebuild all, vue has an interesting thought.

And react with mobx state goes in the same direction statewize.

A reason vue is more liked by its users is probably because most users of vue got to choose them self. Many react users just got handed a task and had to use react since its what the project uses.

So a framework or tool that is widely used will have a harder time to please every one.

Every one man show will have stellar user opinion, just not very many users ;)

Doesn't matter. Employers only care about how good your portfolio looks and you'll learn stuff that's common for both frameworks when you work on any onr
