I'm my God I have a co worker that will just ask stuff any time a stray thought comes into his head. My favorite thing is if I am ignoring him he will walk over with his laptop and just plop it on my desk. I have began to keep my desk a bit messy with no room for him to put it there and he has actually said there isn't a place for my laptop here... smh, fml

This is especially true of my team's QA. They find a bug and want to discuss it with the dev immediately before logging it. The cognitive overhead of switching between a development task and talking to the QA was beginning to get really annoying - whatever the f**k happened to bug triages!

We have something called the 'silent hours' rule in place to combat exactly this. No one speaks, even phone calls are rerouted. It sounds silly at first, but it helps a great deal just knowing you get two hours in the morning where you can simply code without anyone interrupting your thoughts.
