Arch updates are usually in either a few kilos or a few megabytes. macOS updates are free, and so are most apps' updates.

@Proximyst If you use vanilla arch, you are right. Only kernel updates will have 15ish megabytes for you to worry about. System updates doesn't exist on arch, so actually it is not fair to compare.
Fully functional arch will have 1 gb average update per week, including heavy tools like unity or android studio.
