    Here in Spain you can use them to do tons of stuff online with your government ID, they're super popular. A lot of institutions support it, like banks and such, to authorize actions you take on various websites.

    @nanoandrew4 Very interesting indeed; the only place I saw this system is in Serbia, so good to know it's in other countries as well (I sorta expected it to be but hey 😅) since unfortunately I still never saw it in France 😑
