Really fuck US health insurance. I could rant for days but really fuck it.

How sad is it, that people from a "civilised" country have to resort to "medical tourism"?

@Jilano it’s off the chain! My deductible out of pocket is $5000/year and my premium is $2600/yr. This means I pay $7600/year before Insurance even kicks in. So even for a small thing it’s cheaper to travel!!! We were originally planning on spending $8k on a massive honeymoon trip. We decided to put that off but you can definitely get to Europe and back for less!
