I had this a few times, too. It really sucks. I once even got access to the virtual machine on the server in order to watch what went wrong (GUI automation), and then it succeded. But never without watching. It was like some kind of Schroedinger bug.

Did you check for any missing environment keys?

@jonah ya. I run the tests on my machine ( fedora) and in ubuntu docker, never breaks. may be we guys are running too many vm at server and the test framework is cmock which I believe is little unstable.
