i found it weird that on a programming course there were people who introduced their selfs as and i quote "im more of an ideas person myself that will get me through this course" yeh alright mate then you find out they did a research project involving no code what so ever....... why are you on this uni course
-
x1r15179y@wildgoosecsharp 90% of people on my course was saying "they like computers but don't like programming". Well... They seemed to do not like anything.

we had a guy in our group project who had to demo alone as he had zero input - however i think his demo was the funniest moment in history - admitted straight out his code was copied from youtube - but he said the man in the video was "nuff foreign" so he couldnt work out what the code was .... but some nice man in the comments had translated it.
needless to say he redid second year lol -
x1r15179ySo I had one guy that was sitting next to me and literally asked me "Will you write this code for me?". I don't remember what was the problem but something very easy like a nested loop or so, he was to lazy to even look in the notes so I wrote his code. Well... You should see his face when lecturer asked him for explanation. That was fun xd

:) its best when people like that say could you write my code and you add random shit loops in which if they change it while thing will fuck up - i dint mind someone asking for help its part of learning its when people have no intrest in utilising the help....moaning the works to hard but wont even attempt it
-
orion-ix3549yThe best kicker is when people come up to you asking for coding help and they say "bro I'm basically done, I JUST need some help with this little thing" and it turns out they only have 5 println statements in their main and you have to design their classes, db...
-
i think the best one yet is where they ask for help and you direct them to a site that literally goves them the code and they say "yh but i wont understand that so you might as well do ot for me" to which i say NAH im not doing that

orion-ix3549y@wildgoosecsharp it's a miracle that there's no violence around when this kind of stuff happens.
working on final year project with other "programmers" who have no interest in programming.
