What do you prefer to listen to when you code?

I usually listen to the Tron soundtrack by Daft Punk and similar things.

Mostly metal or rock but sometimes classical music.

I’ve recently been introduced to WFMU radio which is working for me.

Electro Swing most of the time (the Electro Swing Revolution Radio to be exact) or Groove Salad / Dub Step Beyond on soma.fm

Depends on the mood but some favourite are power metal, Celtic music and movies/games soundtracks

Hip hop, metal(all sorts) and a lot of hard rock

Rock when I’m doing Java backend. Electronic if I’ve had more than 2 coffees. Enya if I’m doing front-end JavaScript. It’s the only thing that stops me from punching the monitor.

Usually something like Epicuros - Horizons of Time or similar. Doesn't give too much distraction but also keeps external noise out. Best of both worlds <3

It depends. Sometimes when I need to speed up my shits, i listen to electronic music. Sometimes when I'm coding in a relaxed mode, i listen to instrumentals. But when I fix complex bugs, I can't even put earphones on even if it's not playing anything.

Sometimes lo-fi...sometimes screamo...sometimes whatever youtube recommends me
