jonii25246yThat's okay, we'll be here to listen and give you mental support.
Also share your drunk dev ideas with us in realtime, so you won't end up like @meowijuanas :D -
lxmcf199506y@S-Homles well I'm 9 pints down so give me 10 minutes and horribly spelt rants will be abundant
-
lxmcf199506y@oudalally just beer at the moment, would be on whiskey or tequila shots but I don't want to die tonight
-
lxmcf199506y@oudalally well I'm Aussie so I go for VB or great northen but when I'm on my own i stick with Coors
-
lxmcf199506y@oudalally I'll be honest I love it, it may be weak but I can down a 6 pack before I feel it haha
Or I'll go a Somersby pear cider or Merc hard cider depending hown I'm feeling -
jonii25246y@lxmcf @oudalally as a German I have never heard of any of those beer brands, can they even be good?
-
lxmcf199506y@jonii no not at all haha, VB is super tough, great northern is weak and Coors is just meh and boring
-
lxmcf199506y@oudalally 110% correct, VB really doesn't travel well, come to Australia Victoria and get it on tap, you'll understand and Coors is really refreshing but it's essentially homebrew water.
-
jonii25246y@oudalally ok.. guess I should travel more/try more beer while travelling
Heineken is a great choice, eventhough my favorite is Astra (kinda obvious) -
lxmcf199506y@oudalally well honestly if you come to Victoria for what ever reason, I'll shout you a few pints of VB and a couple games of pool
-
lxmcf199506y@SpyECho @oudalally just a heads up I'm 15 pints down and about to grab more grog in the way home so I'm sorry in advance
-
Condor323326y@jonii Heineken is piss.. shit doesn't even get you drunk after a few glasses.. worthless! Try Jupiler if you're into light beers or Duvel / Gouden Carolus Maneblusser or Tripel if you're into the heavier ones.
@lxmcf keep us updated mate π
@CozyPlanes yeah having to recover everything kinda sucks.. it's much faster than before now (thanks everyone π€) but yeah recovery time from what drunken fool me deleted that night kinda makes me feel like "why?"
So yeah don't press that button π
And I'm also not an alcoholic, I swear π -
Condor323326y@oudalally actually I'm gonna have to look for something heavy for tonight this afternoon.. any particular whiskeys that you'd recommend? π
-
Condor323326y@lxmcf Johnny Walker Black looks good, and a local store here seems to sell them too. Will try it out!
-
lxmcf199506y@Condor no no no, not black, get double black, black is shit asz double may cost more but trust me after double black on the rocks you'll never go back
-
jonii25246y@Condor 40€?! The most expensive alcohol I buy would be Bombay Gin for like 20€ and that's for rare occasions! Usually it's a bottle of my fav 5€ schnaps.
But also I'm chronically broke, so.. -
lxmcf199506y@Condor im saving for a $200 aud bottle of johny, once you try it you'll be a new man I swear.
It's all worth it as long as you don't touch johny Walker red or black -
Condor323326y@jonii join the club π
Personally I usually spend a similar amount on booze, with sometimes €10 bottles of London Dry Gin π€.. having electronics as a hobby while unemployed doesn't really help for me I guess, haha. Anyway, if I just buy a bottle of that gin for the weekend I'd stay away from the Black (come to think of it, Moar blacker Moar better so saving for Double Black makes sense) and keep @lxmcf happy as well π -
jonii25246y@lxmcf too bad :(
Classic though, but I guess not a huge deal when you're out with friends anyway.
Dear devrant, I apologize for any really random rants for the night, I'm out drinking and clubbing with friends and am already having Dev thoughts.
