Or javascript. I honestly dont know how can people hate and blame languages so blindly. Every language has its use, pros and cons. JS gives you freedom which is a two edged blade, you can make stuff fast and easy but if you are not careful enough you will cut yourself. If someone can say "git gud" when one complains about making a memory leak in C/C++ because pointers then I can say the same when you override a variable unintentionaly because you did not see through your own code...

This might not be the whole picture but the point is, you cant and should not compare languages by themselves without context or goal to reach
