So I just purchased the base model 2018 13"macbook pro (Fight me) and am finnaly thinking about giving xcode a chance and trying native mac development seeing as my Mac wont double as a radiator when I open it.

Am I going to really be in a world of hurt or will i be surprised?

Had to use xcode around 6 years ago, it was a miserable experience, not sure if it's got any better. The number of overlapping windows etc... God the horror, fucking PTSD inducing, I vow to never do iOS dev again after I finished with it. Haven't since, that said Android Studio has been absolutely wonderful.

So how did it go? Native development give you more power and Xcode give you triple the migraines? I find Xcode to be about as pleasant as getting "loved" from behind by a Klingon elephant.

@lxmcf ah, the pain of the truth. I am no android fan but my main tool for iOS does suckith badly; the point goes to Android.
