Does anybody else think the new expressions are nice and all, but most of them are not really made for those small avatars we have?

most often it looks like the person is about to ask me about how they got their scars or they are making fun of asian eyes while laughing about it

it looks great once you zoom in on the profile, but on the smaller size version it just looks odd

there is some exceptions that actually look great on the small avatars too, but most of them don't

    @Floydian your expression looks like youre biting your bottom lip and stretch it back to show your teeth more, similar to bottom row, left picture 😅 idk, those small avatars just make them look weird

    Yeah, I think so too.. but then, you can't really jam a lot of information into a small 45x45 picture...

    @Condor it might help cropping more closer to the face, but besides that, expressions then should have been tested against that instead, to make the mouth bit bigger or use different colors, different borders etc. thats what smaller pixel art does too, I really feel bad for trashing on so much work that went towards this, but the result didn't sadly hit at all, besides couple exceptions 😶
