@endor since 1709 Windows 10 ignores most GPOs about updating you have to be more creative sadly.

I'm not for disabling updates completely, so i dug around a bit for my company as the invasive reboots were getting out of hand.

You can hijack the MusNotification.exe via the Image File Execution Options Debugger Key.
No forced reboots, no complaining about updates, no "updates have been installed" notifications. It just goes out of your way.

You have to look yourself if something broke though. But that duty takes a script on my end :)

@WhAtEvErYoUmEaN idk, I simply disabled automatic updates and automatic reboots in the GPeditor and never looked back ever since, nor had any unexpected behaviour. Can't check right now, but I'm pretty sure it's on 1709, and it still applies on another pc with 1809 or something too

@endor Okay so it took me a minute to realize you were talking about the build, i thought it was the year 1709 and you were being sarcastic.

@SandervDoorn oh no, we *are* talking about the year. I still remember when I was a wee youngin' in 1609 and hoping for my parents to buy me a Windows computer to calculate the taxes for the servants who worked in our farms and fields. All I got was an abacus though :(
