Hey guys.
I've been using instructables a lot for arduino tutorials. Do you guys know other sites like that?

I don’t know any websites but there are good YouTube channels out there, depending on what you are looking for.

For learning Arduino I’d check out Paul McWhorter.

For making projects there are really too many to give any specifics.

There’s many things you can do with the Arduino so have fun!

I already saw a few videos from this guy and was hoping to find him again.

Already on my list, thank you.

Usually, youtube tutorials are best for theory... for practice, I prefer a mix of video, photos, and clearly documented text...

Instructables in the only site I saw so far like that and has soooo many categories... Even for leather.

But this guy... he has everything Electronics based... It's like my brother 2.0 with patience for me :D

PS , I'm finalizing a new project and I'll make a few milling tutorials out of it. Like the information that I see amateurs don't have and I do, don't see many professionals teaching the very basics in clear language.

    who would like that?

@GyroGearloose You mean like teaching it in layman terms?

    @Loading Exactly...

Let me give an example why...

When I did my 2 year CNC formation, when we got to the hard code programming (most CNCs nowadays are programmed by CAM, but we start with the code) , I asked the teacher why didn't he taught logic programming? First, he teased me... then he asked me, what is that?

That is the mentality of 95% of the people in the molding industry... You must really learn by experience, and I lost half my class (it's the reason of my burn out) ... Still got good grades, because I was the only one with top grades... Because I was the only one who did learn out to program (me, and the other best studdent.. the one who milled a piece 3mm to the side...) . I actually had the chance to teach my group, while the teacher was busy with the other groups and I had to spend 4 hours getting rid of nasty habits the teachers taught... (that's why one of the best did such a mistake)

So... there is a market, and I'll be exploring (youtubing) about the stuff I can't find

Funny thing, I think my best one will be my pool video with my super duper cheap cover.

Well I’ll be looking forward to them if you’re releasing them sometime!

Element14 has some good stuff on it as well, and there's some tutorials floating here and there in other places as well. Instructables is the largest by far though, and often also the most reliable, so that'd be my go-to source.

@Condor thanks. Gonna check it out.
Instructables are a true dream for free manuals and tutorials.
Btw check out userland app on playstore, Linux on Android for Android 8 (first one I know that works... And really well)

@Condor if element14 is a good community I might improve also. I'm looking for a Beter site /forum to post my questions... Better then fill devrant with questions.

Btw just got 6 (m8 x40x60) screws from motors for free, with the autorization to go trough the scrap whenever I want.
I also found a good calibrated rod, but each of those screws can goo up to 20€ and are really good for steppers, to bad only has 40mm, might be good for a head plotter / carver

@GyroGearloose Electronics Stack Exchange? Probably not good for questions like this but many have already been asked (and answered) somewhere on that site.

As for Linux on Android.. eh, it's okay I guess but I like Termux better. Besides, a chroot environment (which pretty much all those apps use) would be rather trivial for me to deploy regardless. Only thing that'd suck balls is that not many tools (other than those in Termux of course) are compiled for aarch64 with Android's directory structure (which is important to find linkers etc). So chances are that I'd have to compile them myself.. and then I'd rather place them in /system/bin anyway.

Also have termux and didn't use it still...
Btw if your a termux user, can we install Apache + PHP + MySQL trough the command like and run it as a server?
Not gonna use the vm for that because it is it uses a lot more memorry, my current server has 1gb ram and the next server (that I must have take the time to clean, root, bla bla has) 2gb. To bad servers ultimate only work well in Android 4, luckily fuking hawei didn't upgrade one of its top seller phones. Gave my father my old phone (Asus, never buy anything Asus with android ) and he gave me his. Same specks, Asus runs android 8 and lags with a clean install, android 4 needs less then 128mb to run, Android 7 plus with bloatware user 1gb700 out of 2gb

@GyroGearloose I think you could yes, but I guess that it goes without saying that a phone will never be a proper replacement for a real server.. but yeah you could use it for low demand applications, preferably local ones. If you're not rooted, you can run the Apache server on port 8080 (which is unprivileged), and the MySQL database can be interacted with through Unix sockets I guess. You'd also install within Termux' local app directory rather than the system root. If you're rooted on the other hand, you can run the Apache service on port 80 (a privileged port) when you run the service as root. Once again you don't want this service to listen on any port other than lo (loopback), especially when it's running as root.

By the way, I found another place with good Q&A as I was looking for how to unfuck a fucked transformer.. AllAboutCircuits may interest you as well.

@Condor name isn't strange to me.
Not going to fuck my main phone, as I have the best of the market and my future server. But have two as servers, one serving for months on it's corner.
Must learn about https soon, but my sites are static so far...
