Why couldnt they rent equipment? Makes no sense to me. Back when I was a tour musicians this happend from time to time and we always were able to rent some Equipment. Not like they use some ultra obscure gear no one has (as far as I know)

@musician dunno. Some local bands apparently offered their equipment as well (on Facebook at least).

They had a lot of fun though, and so did I.

@musician because it's not their equipment. They can tell the difference if you give them exact same model in the exact same color and so on. It just feels different playing it. And if it feels different you more easily gonna make mistakes.

@fuckwit as i said: I used to be a professional tour musician and yes: you feel the difference but no: as a professional you can definately still play without making tons of mistakes. Especially if you adjust the action and so on. For example piano players constantly have to adjust to new instruments (if they use acoustic pianos).
