I know it's quite soon to think about it, but: next year I'll graduate in cs and I'm still not sure about what to do after:
- I could just stop studying and start working
- study for another two years on a specialistic degree in Italy
- go take a two years master in machine learning, data science and ai in Finland

Which of these makes more sense?

Anche se sono molto più giovane e inesperto mi sento di suggerirti di valutare prima le skill che i datori di lavoro richiedono nel tuo campo :) Se poi pensi che altri 2 anni di studio valgano la pena, vai avanti con gli studi, altrimenti trova un lavoro nel settore di interesse e guadagna esperienza first-hand ;)

Per la cronaca, sul CV un master del genere in Finlandia farebbe un figurone, e c'è il caso che la ti assumano ancora prima di finire hahaha

@TheItalianGuy sul fatto di guardare le skill richieste hai assolutamente ragione e dovrei farlo. La cosa che più mi manda fuori di testa è che il master in Finlandia lo farei anche solo per piacere personale, ma non so se il gioco valga la candela e ora come ora ho solo paura di buttare via un sacco di tempo ed un sacco di soldi.
Oltre a sta roba qua, c'è anche il problema che l'idea di lavorare immediatamente dopo la triennale mi interessa, però in quel caso avrei paura dei rimorsi per scatti di carriera perché non abbastanza qualificato

I want to work. School is teaching shit. University barely teaches. You have to inform yourself. What is the point then? Just learn all the things you learn at uni while you work for a company or have your own one and do it in your freetime.

@smaso Non ti incolpo onestamente, purtroppo in Italia sono ancora abbastanza rigidi su quegli aspetti lì, salvo casi di realtà più internazionali tipo Google o IBM per buttar giù due esempi. Ad ogni modo, cerca di riflettere a lungo termine :)

@-ANGRY-CLIENT- I do agree with you, but sadly the IT reality is very "stiff" in Italy... No 5-years degree? No senior position and no raise :/ Wouldn't blame him for continuing his studies tbh

@-ANGRY-CLIENT- I know university is almost "useless", especially in our field, and right now I'm studying a lot by myself. But companies won't believe you as you say "oh look, I'm the best backend programmer ever" if you don't have a certificate, that's the main point of my indecision on what to do after my degree

La mia idea ora come ora era (nel caso iniziassi a lavorare subito) farmi le ossa in Italia per qualche anno, per poi cercare di scappare in Germania, perché, sinceramente, qua non voglio starci
Ed anche per questo, nonostante io sia motivato a provarci, ho paura per eventuali rimorsi
