@electrineer you mean it didn't help the one underneath?
My old phone I dropped it a few times. The protector got a few scratches but nothing major. I would assume if it got cracked really bad, I could take it off and the screen under it would be fine. -
@billgates I worked in computer/phone repair for a few years, screen protectors no matter what ones don't always save the actual screen. Especially when phones are dropped on the corners, the crack usually affects both the screen and screen protector.

@jonii no that's my dad's phone which is sorta my point. Don't think if he had a protector, it would be this bad. And well this isn't the first phone he's dropped...

@hypervtechnics I only use plex because I bought it whenever it first came out so just sticking with it.
Wait emby is the same except it's open source... Wtf... Still needs to buy a subscription... -
@billgates Emby has some more functions imo and offers plugins ;)
I used Plex before too but changed to Emby. Price is the same. -

@qdsp13 so buy a 800€ phone because it looks nice, then buy a cheap case?
I like my phone naked because that's the best experience (the experience they designed it for), but I buy second hand flagships so it doesn't matter if I use it normally (drop it sometimes).
Sometimes I wonder how large the gap between tech savvy n normal is.
All those stories about too much time on social media...
and also not knowing why you should get a tempered glass screen protector.... Even if you're screen is reinforced with Gorilla Glass...
