@undef latter... For now it's only for testing, not going live soon

When you narrow the browser window, the buttons first get narrower, too, and then it jumps so that one button takes the horizontal width.

Why aren't the buttons dynamically split into lines with some nice symmetry?

Plus that the "links" button is superflouous. Nobody wants to see link lists so eagerly that this belongs in the main menu. If you drop that, you'd have nice 6 buttons where the line wrap would work better - 1 line of 6, 2 lines of 3, 3 lines of 2 or 6 lines of one. Always centered horizontally, of course.

@Fast-Nop You mean create a table for the 6 buttons? Don't really get ya by line...

My Links will be a set of links to tools... Can't just call it tools because I'll putt any calculator, IDE or such online tooks I can get there.

Bah, I'll just remove it and think about it latter, me Agrees with you.

@GyroGearloose Not a table. I'd make them inline elements inside a container that is centred horizontally. Using some font size relative media queries, the container gets the width for 1, 2, 3 or 6 buttons, depending on how wide the browser window is. If you are using ul for the menu, you can apply the width setting directly to that ul without the need for an extra container if you use display-flex I think.

    Few tips from me:
    1. Change colors! I love dark theme, but this one is too dark. Maybe somethink blueish like Devrant would be nice?
    2. The design looks really simple. While I really like simplicity, this is a bit too simple for my taste. How are your graphics skills? Maybe you can make a cool illustration?

I would recommend checking out Dribbble and looking for cool design inspirations there.

@Fast-Nop forgot I could use uls... :p That may be helpfull.

@DawidCyron Thanks for the tips :p

    I'm blocked... can't pick a good there...

Probably should copy the colors from a site I like :D

@DawidCyron A question, is Dribbble open-source Images? I wanted a site like that with Images I can freely use without worrying about copyright infringement...
  • 2
@GyroGearloose Dribbble is not a source of images. It's a place where designers share their designs. You can't copy them, but they are a great source of inspiration. For illustrations, stuff like vectorstock and shutterstock are great. If looking for images, Adobe Stock is a pretty good place.

@DawidCyron Thanks for both tips... Will help a lot...

Got a Brain block because of the burnout and increased medication :( Have my projects all stalled and want to at least jump-start my page...

Well... Did what I should do before asking stupid questions. Google: free royalty images

    And found this:

@GyroGearloose I hope you will get better. Good luck

@DawidCyron Thanks. Me too. Since the last crash, I just can't remember anything from one day to the next... Really hard when I have to do one project non-stop because the next day I can't remember exactly what I've done, or especially what I learned :(

Have almost 1000€ invested in electronics and can't push forward... And I know I can be making money with one month's worth.

@GyroGearloose get better or try to get off the higher medication asap, usually those leave a mark if used longer, also memory loss might be a symptom, talk to your doc
