I had a job interview today. Things got a bit awkward when the guy doing the interview (a head of tech) brings into the interview one of their midweight devs and I became the interviewer rather than the interviewee.

This kinda happened to me before, what ended up happening is it became a group interview. The interviewer had run late so instead of taking more time, he invited all the candidates(3 of us) into a room and basically asked us all the same questions, and we went around the circle and talked about what we've worked on.

I could see your situation being weird though, and I love the tag "Hunted becomes the hunter." Haha

I should also add that the poor guy was caught by surprise and obviously wasn't prepared for my questions
