GOOGLE WANTS TO KILL THE URL..

Umm... that's ok. But I like URL to know where exactly I'm. They should not be very long and should be in the language I can understand.

So hiding rest part of the URL will not impress me much.

Safari also does the same. But it has option. May be chrome too has an option??

Seems like I should update my chrome.

@C0D4 as far as I remember they just don't show parameters or sometimes even /folder/links(?) but only the actual domain

@BambuSource domain only, unless you tap the address bar to be able to see the rest of the URL

    Are users really that dense?!

... of course they are. They're users.

Okay, I read that article about the challenge which Google is facing in doing so.
The URL sometimes create a mess at the backend and also they results in helping malicous activities.
As per my knowledge websockets can be a good candidate to replace urls. One page website with websockets may be a good solution.

    Just a thought.
