there's no id, it's grouped by username atleast client side. but changing username isn't going to help cause they can search for your rant to see your new username

What @JS96 said is correct. Each user still has in id that's not considered private, so changing your username really shouldn't be used as a full-proof option to hide your account from people who have already seen it.

I also don't really see how it would help because even if they just have a link or know keywords for any of your rants they can just use that to see the new username.
