    however (!) not giving a fuck about problems will not solve any problem, in fact it will just square the problem

    pow(problem, 2);

    @SukMikeHok many problems solve themselves, and for other problems, cloaking them into a OPP field works ("other people's problem").

    @SukMikeHok this book is about giving fucks about the important things so we don't spend our limited fucks on stupid things like getting angry when cashier won't accept ur fkin coupons.

    Naah, it's a waste of time.

    Just another useless self-improvement self-help mumbo-jumbo, but one that "is actually good", according to the author.

    It's just that every egomaniac that goes on to publish such a book does it in their own special way. This one swears a lot the first half of the book. The second half he tries a more balanced approach, but pretty much he has no idea what he's talking about.

    If you really want to be better at life, learn what makes people (and you especially) tick. Read books about human brain and psychology, written by actual scientists who have studied human behavior, and not this rubbish. Trust me, it's as entertaining, but without all the bullshit.

    @AndSoWeCode that was summed up nicely.

    This book has a lot of mixed reviews (as is also apparent from the comments here). That's the reason i haven't bought/read it yet. Not gonna waste my time on an unworthy one. Never ever.

    @gymmerDeveloper a book like this might take you 6 or 12 hours to read, maximum. I don't think that could be considered wasted time if the book turns out to be a bit shit. You've still probably learned something, even if it's just an insight into how other people live their life, and I think most of us probably spend more hours than that a week doing unproductive things like gaming or watching porn.

    I loved it. I gotta read it again soon

    @AndSoWeCode Got it right.

    It's an okay book. Helpful if you give too many fucks. Not particularly helpful if you don't. Amusing read, though ultimately a waste of time.

    I think this book has some good points in it, but all of them could have been easily expressed in about 5 pages. The rest is just filler stories to turn what could have been an article into a book.

    I feel the art of thinking clearly was a better read for me in the self-help section ..
