hasu23706yMy experience is rather the opposite. German sites are nice and all but i you search in english you will find alot more information.
So I don't think its a big thing. Also ubuntuusers.com or something exists. -
@RantSomeWhere @hasu ubuntuusers.de is German only. And I don't know about any English alternative for this matter comparable in quality and accessability. Do you?

aritzh7536y@RantSomeWhere @Benedikt yeah, the Arch Linux Wiki is by far the most complete resource for anything linux related. It is true that there are some things specific to arch, but since arch is very bare bones, it has explanations that can be applied to most distributions.
askubuntu.com and unix.stackexchange.com are quite good too, although they are not in the form of an encyclopedia, but to answer more specific questions. -
flocke2616y@aritzh @RantSomeWhere I agree, the Arch Wiki is by far the most useful English resource out there. Even when I was using other distros than Arch I still used it the most if I needed some information.

hasu23706yI just always googled what I needed and ended up at askubuntu or something. So I don't really care if it's one site or multiple providing the information. I avoid googling dev related stuff in german in the first place. Less users, and the terms are different...

I don't know what non-German people do without ubuntuusers.de.
Without this wiki, I probably would know nothing about Linux today. I would have never been introduced to it as a child, would never been able to learn that much, play around with desktop Ubuntu, Raspberry Pis, administrate own servers...
So, thank you, ubuntuusers.de, for helping little Benedikt with Ubuntu in his mother tongue, and making me the Linux enthusiast I am today!
