I have a random question. Does it make me a less of a developer if I say no to a embedded side project proposed by a friend?
I mean I'm all into side projects n building something cool but hardware and embedded stuff isn't something I like or feel passionate about.

I'd say no. Unless I'm getting paid for it, I'm not doing a project I'm not interested in doing.

Lol this means you are actually getting more mature. Now I will mention that embedded devs get generally better pay, but if it's not what your into then it's not worth it. But if you aren't sure what you're into, it might be a good exploration

Not at all. I decline web development stuff for a similar reason, it's just not my thing.
