"Team" is a social group contest. The winner is the one who is laziest, most incompetent and can shove off his work to others. The prize is called "promotion".

The only trusted group, friends, coworkers or whatever ducking called, is YOU.

Hope but never expect. Look forward but never wait.

@Fast-Nop @Biggy it’s not even that bad man, we’re learning new stuff as well while working on it, why bother coming and payingthe tuition if you’re not even serious about it. Fuck sake

I know this dude that practically did nothing for his projects, one of those all talk guys, aomehow he made it into a game design masters degree, glad i didnt end up doing masters i dont ever want to ne in a group with that dude.

One of the projects we did together, was just a team member for him dropped out, and he got put in our group, laat day of the assignment he asks "hey need any help with anything", "yeah that'd be great" "too bad im at a party getting drunk"

and the rest of the night it was more measages asking if we needed help but it got harder to read each time. He got an easy B+ for doing shit all

That's why I teamed up with a friend who did practically all the same courses as I did. Some were for teams of only two, so that was nice. Most often we had one or two additional members which also went ok most of the time, because even if one did not contribute as much, us two probably did most of the work anyway because we were a good team already and had fun.

The only thing which sucks donkey ass is when the professor uses random groups were sometimes no one knows each other, and even worse - make the team get a collective grade!

btw there is this german tongue-in-cheek acronym of TEAM which stands for "Toll, ein anderer macht's" which translates to "Great, someone else does the work".

Some people really live by that standard...

I started showing my instructors the (git) history and asked get a separate mark for each members work. With none backing thrm up, people actually start lifting a finger

A real coder is a group : part of the brain work out the database design, another the business requirements, another the User Experience, another the middle-ware.

Well for the team work in college you need a person who does the all work and the other members who rely on his/her skill to get their marks.🤔
