Old country and western. Seriously. I never listen to it otherwise, but put on a Pandora channel with stuff ranging from Hank Williams up to maybe Willie Nelson. Basically, it's simple, unintrusive stuff that just kind of kicks around in the background. You don't pay attention to it, but it fills the gaps a bit like white noise, but not headache inducing. Now, if you want music to actively listen to, please disregard this advice.

@monkeyboy This is it chief lol

I even throw in some "in the feels" sad country music and it does the trick.

Well just play the lo-fi station in Pandora and boom you got yourself some programming music

@irene just curious to hear what people's programming music taste is. Open to suggestions. I am a fan of trance hop personally, but I'll be glad to check out whatever is suggested

@irene hey, no shame in K pop. A guilty pleasure of mine is Blackpink

Define programming music. I'm a sysadmin (Linux) myself and i listen to raw hardstyle/rawstyle myself (literally nothing else). Colleagues fiend that hell to listen to while working but hey, I love it!
