Hey people,

Can anyone point me at a cms that I don't have to fight with design and programming wise but is still easy for someone not even close to tech savy to edit and add content?

I’ve heard good things about https://ghost.org/

Wagtail is a Django based CMS if you like Python.

If you're on the Microsoft train I'd recommend https://umbraco.com/

Seems simple enough for non technical people to manage content and as a bonus is open source.

Hm... I tested somehow OctoberCMS... it's nice. But there was a weird error... so... Idk. Killed it ☺

We had the issue in my company that only web devs could add content to pages (boring!!) so I tried Grav to solve that and it's awesome!

By default all the user can enter is markdown so they don't mess up with your styles and layout

I find Neos (neos.io) pretty easy to setup, use, and extend. And it comes with an actual WYSIWYG editor.

Hm... not in my case 😂 Often saw composer here and there... but docker, too 🙈

It's not a problem but it's somehow strange hm...

Modx CMS is good for most use cases, the only downside is that you need ext.js 3 if you're doing some custom management UI.
