Today, at a dinner party, someone acted surprised when they discovered that I was an Integrations Engineer because (quote) "You look too normal for a Dev".

What the hell? Why do people always assume that who works at IT must live their whole life at a desk, wear glasses and have 0 social skills?

    @milkbytes I mean proud might be a stretch, but I think nerdiness is cool in its honesty. But prejudice sucks. If people are gonna judge you based on some assumptions like that, then they probably aren’t worth worrying about.
