felbit4106yWe use elasticsearch at some industry grade customer applications and we are quite happy with it. I am not an expert on the subject, though.

unknown18356yI've implemented Solr in a couple of Drupal websites. It is funny to play with it, as long as you don't have to dig through to configs searching for "mlt" and shit like that.

mojo20127836yWhy r u happy with factfinder?
If u just need search solr shoukd be fine, although it‘s way more complicated to configure. Ever tried to setup lexical analysis for polish? Arg -
fml892276y@mojo2012 were not - client asked for ff because they are like the biggest search service provider in Germany „so they have to be good“ - it does work as expected but the performance is _very_ poor.
I’ll look into solr and how to configure it and stuff the coming few days. Thanks for the pointers! -
mojo20127836y@fml89 we are using FF with SAP hybris and performance is totally fine (about 30ms response time for 100 search results per page, about 40k products)

Has anybody here used Solr or Elasticsearch for a big online shop? We’re implementing fact finder and are not happy and are wondering about solr and stuff like that.
I kinda want more emotional input from other devs so I thought I asked here :)
Thanks !
