Huh. You are somewhat right.
https://fda.gov/drugs/... .
The fact that there are bastards who'll sell you potentially harmful things for a quick buck is hardly news, though. -
and I just took betaine HCL which the FDA banned for ages and only unbanned recently... the ban's justification? "it wasn't deemed effective". what's it matter if you consider something effective? 🙄
those vaccines weren't. they increased transmission and length of illness and death actually. unless you count that as efficacy, tehe. not to mention IGG4. -
lastNick5623h@jestdotty This is how drugs are regulated almost everywhere: Prove significant medical effectiveness for a medical indication in a clinical randomised controlled trial. Also side effects are documented and weighed against the wanted medical effects.

@lastNick no side effects tho and it's not a patented pharma thing
it's like trying to disallow the sale of vinegar
which probably has more side effects because it is an acid. so it'll harm teeth and tissues if you have enough of it
and think pre doctors belief in bacteria. vinegar murders bacteria. they sell it as an antibacterial item. science doesn't believe in bacteria. they ban it out of spite
In the US, you can go to a gas station and buy a "Pink Pussycat" pill that claims to be a sexual pleasure enhancement pill for women. In reality, it's basically poison.
