or https://rocket.chat if you want the discord feel but care about privacy and are willing to host it yourself. Alternatively you could also look at https://matrix.org but I'm unsure if it supports channels in similar way to slack

You might want to try out Mattermost, but the Android app does not seem to be well developed. It can be set up on premise.

Or you could host an XMPP server, but the installation can be a bit troublesome.

I'd recomend rocketchat too over discord for privacy. I'm using it everyday, works fine, mobile app..
