New startup - our backend stack is php, js, mysql, mongo & redis

Can you guys recommend nice-to-have internal tools that could make out lifes easier? We’ve been using confluence so far and thinking on grabbing a jira license.

Any advice is helpful 🤪

Ask each dev what they would like to have if they had their dreamjob.
Also a good question for in an interview.
Personally I love the complete Jetbrains suite, but others hate it.

if your team is all in one place and little to no remote work is done I would always go for a analog postits board instead of jira!

@ShotgunSurgeon thats wat beter thans a digital board indeed. Quicker feedback.

Otherwise you could try trello before you go for jira. In my opinion it is a little more lightweight. documentation should of course happen in your confluence

    JIRA?
Please don't do that to yourself.

Look into phabricator. It will save you many lost hours and many headaches. Has a nice CLI, too!

@ShotgunSurgeon for the moment we’re all in one place, but will soon start to work with remote teams

@Codex404 This. You could buy me the entire jetbrains suite but if it wouldn't be a requirement to actually use it, I'd install netbeans right away, I don't like the jetbrains things.
