    Why medium article?

    @devTea I spend a significant amount of time reading new articles at night . It would be good to have something that doesn't hurt my eyes.

    I haven't tried any of the dark mode browser extensions, but maybe they could help.

    I'm going to eat toast with peanut butter... Oh and I should water the plants when I'm done pooping. I'm late for work... I shouldn't have stayed up so late. At least the train will be empty. Since I'm late anyway I could go sit down for a coffee at my favorite place... But I do have a meeting at 12.

    What? You asked for any thoughts!

    Also yes to dark theme. Dark themes everywhere.

    The entire internet should be equipped with dark themes! And there should be a HTTP protocol revision to include a Dark-Theme header, so that the OS can be set either light or dark, and set this header. Then websites can automatically serve the dark theme without any more interference with in-website settings or userstyles. Probably not gonna happen in my lifetime, but hey, man can dream, right?

    @denialofservice Word doesn't have a dark theme because it's a WYSIWYG editor and most people don't want to print their whole fucking documents black.

    Pretty much every decent program with text in it that's used extensively has a dark theme, and for good reasons. Including web browsers' reading modes(yes, even with cnn.com), apps(like Reddit) etc.

    Their designers were not morons either, so I guess that means that argument by consensus is still a fallacy.

    Make it black on black, with some decent music in the blackground: https://youtube.com/watch/...

    @ewpratten why?

    @denialofservice Because on average people can't handle change and will complain about every pixel for eternity, no matter if the change was good or not.
