olback107986yI was born 00. Mostly played with Lego or hung out with friends. Me and my classmates lived quite close to each other.
When I got older, like 13, I started to play games in my free time. When I was 15/16 programming completely took over my life. -
Elyz69656yPlayed video games as my primary hobby from age 6 and up. Before that I dunno. I guess I played with dolls or something? Then I went to school and took a class in programming in high school and then my life spiraled out of control and now I'm actually trying to get through university and get a degree in software development 😂

ltlian21886yVideo games. Initially for the sake of the videogames, but quickly more for the social aspect. Nowadays even when I play singleplayer games it wouldn't be the same if I didn't have my friends to geek out over it with.
I wish I had dabbled in programming earlier. It seemed incredibly dry and insurmountable to me before I started with it. -
Born 93... I suppose getting into trouble was my favorite pastime. But then again, whose wasn't?
Actually, to quote my family, I spent most of my time "wasting time with this computer stuff, that'll never lead me anywhere"... Quite an attitude, but that's catholics for you right there.
Nontechnical hobbies? Me? RC Planes, a little CB radio to jam / fuck with toy planes (27 MHz kiddies disturbing my beautiful 40MHz plane). And reading, both fiction and nonfiction -
Elyz69656y@ScriptCoded thanks! I've actually been here for over a year but never dared join the conversation, haha.

'89 old timer speaking here :) outside games, ball games, climbing trees, building snow tunnels/forts, more tree climbing, bike riding, gardening, helping out my grandpa in his homesteat, wood crafts, etc.. There was sooooo much to do as I lived in village/homestead.
Later in, in like '98 or so, we got a first pc with msdos. It had some games already :) that's the moment my childhood got spoiled -
>I was complied in 97
>Early childhood I had a weird obsession with vacuum cleaners. Wasn't big on TV
>Both parents work
>TV becomes babysitter
>Get ps2 for 8th birthday, pretty much been gaming since then to now, also still watch a lot of TV
>2012 switch to PC master race but also have ps3 now
>Inloved in local church
> Did extra curricular drama lessons from grade 8 to grade 12
>Vacuum obsession has since been replaced with car obsession -
Condor323366yHmm, my father used to have a lot of Lego and a fairly large collection of strip albums.. so I mostly played with and read those. Also encyclopedias, as I used to have a great interest in dinosaurs and space travel when I was a kid, as well as anything else that has information in it. There were some books related to space travel from the 70's in those bookshelves so I often read those as well, but they were at the time fairly complicated for 7-year old me to wrap my head around.
Also I did a bit of gaming.. in elementary school we had these games on CD-ROM called Rollercoaster Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon and also something with restaurants, but I can't quite remember the name. Restaurant Tycoon? All I remember is that I had 4-star restaurants but that I couldn't get the 5th because apparently my food always arrived cold 😛
On my father's laptop me and my sister also played Putt-Putt and Freddi Fish a lot.. good ol' days 😋
(edit: '96 kid here btw) -
I was exploring computers, before windows even existed. Cleaning my HDs by deleting files in root (autoexec.bat, command.com...), exploring said files once i learned they are vital, creating batch files to start games in one command (z.bat that navigated to direcory and ran a command, which later included mount command)...

I was born in 1998 .Although I'm a developer and love tech now I'm happy to say there were no smartphones and tablets around that time.Nowadays I cringe when i see young children(as young as 2years old) using Smartphones and Tablets. I played lots of ps1 and ps2 games.I use to love Lego and building aircraft and cars with Lego.I also used to do lots of puzzles.I watched a lot of Dragonball z and other cartoons on those video casettes.other than that I used to be outside on the jungle gyms and at school.

Born 95, I read the entire fucking library. Now I don't like reading books anymore (except for privacy/security research)😅
